Course description 

In this course, you will cover the basic aspects on environment and natural resources management. It contains two (2) lessons which will introduce participants to the following; 

• Basic concepts in environment and natural resource management 

• key environment concerns in Natural Resources 

• The Key roles and actions of Local Government Councils in environment and natural resource management and

• The role of Local Governments in legal and institutional framework for environment and natural resources management. 

The aim of this course is to provide MDF participants the basic information on environment and natural resource management and recognize the role of LG councils in promoting sustainable management practices.
