Course description
This course consists of two lessons which covers mainly two concerns;
- Legislation by the District Council and
- Legislation by Lower Local Governments
During the course development, the participants will be able to discover different steps and procedures the local governments go through in the process of passing bills into ordinances and bye-laws. It also points out the roles of key players in the legislative process at the different levels in the local government.
The aim of this course however, is to enable participants understand the legislative powers of Local Governments and the legislation process for the District and Lower Councils.
